Manuel Garcia de la Cruz

I was born in 1953 in Asturias, Northern Spain. For the last thirty years I have lived in Denia, on the Mediterranean coast, where I have my workshop and studio. I paint mainly in watercolour and japanese inks and have had many exhibitions locally and in Ibiza. Nature is a strong influence on my work of seascapes, mountains, beaches and countryside. I also work with ceramics, making both sculptures and beautiful bowls in raku and with amazing glazes. I have spent a long time developing both techniques.
