In the not so distant past, Art was my life. I got distracted for a time, following a different path. A few years ago I went back to school part- time, studying Business and Computers. After a period of mind numbing boredom, and an incident when an economics lecturer, in an auditorium of 300 students said:" the unseen hand of the market sees to it that everyone receives what they need when they need it". In the not so distant past, Art was my life. I got distracted for a time, following a different path. A few years ago I went back to school part- time, studying Business and Computers. After a period of mind numbing boredom, and an incident when an economics lecturer, in an auditorium of 300 students said:" the unseen hand of the market sees to it that everyone receives what they need when they need it". Why doesn't he just call it what it is: God, I wondered. After this, my wife suggested I follow my passion. Next to my faith, that of course is Art. Is and was and probably, always will be. I enrolled in some Graphic and Visual Arts courses and I am amazed how exhilarating following my dream can be.
If you have a passion, be sure to follow it and don't put it off. That's the only way you'll ever truly be happy. I continue to take courses, I continue to create Art and although I don't know the destination, I've found it's one hell of a journey!!
