as a photographer and filmmaker, i enjoy capturing slices of life... those unguarded moments when people's masks are down and we respond and connect to their more naked expression.
when i'm shooting i feel keenly present, and i love finding and framing candids of people engrossed in their own life without being aware of my lens. traveling particularly gets my juices flowing as i seem to see with fresh eyes. i shoot to capture the feeling and the experience... to bring home moments as much as vistas. the exciting shots for me creatively are when i am able to see magic in the mundane or bea...
