She has received numerous awards for her previous work in warm glass, jewelry and the lapidary arts. This training in 3d media gives her a unique view through the lens.
Her first camera was a Brownie that she received on her 5th birthday. Now shooting black and white film ,35mm and medium format Holga, and digitally her uncommon view of the world is the focus of her artistic leanings.
Since focusing on photography her images have had success in a variety of forums. Digital work received “Kodak Photo of the Day” recognition. Her “Tempiale del Fungo” is included by the Peabody Essex Museum, Salem Massachusetts, in a collection documenting new trends in modern art.
Many of the images offered here are large enough for institutional and office applications where there are large areas with high ceilings needing a focal point.
JC is a member of The Professional Photographers of America and The National Association of Photoshop Professionals.
