In my time I have been a horse riding instructor, a civil servant, a massage therapist, a mother of three , a musician and song writer and have worked as an activities provider with the elderly in care. That is how I got painting, As the residents were not confident drawing I started to draw images on watercolour paper so they could enjoy an authentic experience. Since then I have produced ready to paint kits of the bird pictures available on e-bay because it is a great way to learn about , increase awareness of and connect to some of our favourite birds. More recently I have been exploring acrylics and getting to find out how they work,
It has all been a magical experience ,like learning a new language and seeing the world through new eyes. I think everyone should do it, everyday!
