I was born and raised in Fresno, Ca. I was always interested in things artistic but never got around to doing anything seriously until I moved to Santa Monica and took a variety of art classes at the Community College. I tried different mediums and ended up preferring oil painting. I painted on and off for a few years, learning more as I went. In the last couple of years I've had more time to concentrate on my artwork. Flowers are my favorite subject, but I'm now doing more still life paintings.
