Mark Andrew Thomas is an award winning wildlife photographer and filmmaker based in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. Growing up next to the Florida Everglades fostered in him an early appreciation and a keen eye for all the many varieties of wildlife that call the wetlands home. A special fondness for alligators and crocodiles is reflected in the nature film "Birth of a Predator". The documentary film examines the surprising maternal nature of the female alligator and portrays the oft misunderstood reptile in a different light.
