Artistically my goal is to let whatever happens, happen. I go into a painting with an idea in mind, and embrace the composition as it creates itself. I let the paint move on the canvas, I never confine my media. Technically I work in both Golden and Liquitex professional artist acrylic paints, and find the "science" behind mixing paint and mediums and everyday items an experience like no other. My paintings are never flat, you will almost always find a high level of texture in them, as what you feel is a part of the experience. In all of my original paintings the edges of the canvas are considered a part of the process. I do not black them out or white them out, they are left as a raw part of the overall image.
