I am a traditional illustrator passionate about telling inspirational stories through my artwork. I received my Bachelor’s degree from the Alberta College of Art and Design, and am currently pursuing my Master's degree in Illustration at the Academy of Art University located in downtown San Francisco.
Working mainly in acrylic paint on hardboard my artwork has a realistic and painterly style. Influences include (but are not limited to): Kazuhiko Sano, Dennis Budgen, Gustav Klimt, Mary Cassatt, Maxfield Parrish, Louis Comfort Tiffany, Rembrandt van Rijn, and Claude Monet among many others.
My background in graphic design, extensive travels, and love for music uniquely inform my creativity - bringing strong concepts, movement, and intense color to my art.
I currently reside in San Francisco, and when I’m not painting and working on my thesis I spend my spare time shopping, playing music and singing, reading, or enjoying the Bay Area.
