I was born in 1984 Beijing, China, and moved to Madison, NJ, on May 4, 1995. In 2006, I moved to Allentown, PA.

After receiving a secondary public education in Madison, NJ, I took the summer between high school and college to travel across the US. After 45 days riding Greyhound buses, I took over 6,000 photographs and visited over 30 American cities. Consequently, this trip had a dramatic effect on my photography interest.

Soon after, in the fall of 2003, I attended the University of Rochester (Rochester, NY) majoring in Chemistry with a Management Certificate in Accounting/Finance, along with pre-med.

Although I take various types of photographs ranging from portraiture to landscape, I am better known for my architectural photographs of modern skyscrapers. My most prominent work often contains elements of reflection, pattern, form, detail, and coloration. It is said by many people that these photographs often look like paintings.

My photographs have been publicly exhibited in Madison (NJ), Rochester (NY), and the Lehigh Valley area in Pennsylvania. Just after a few months of graduation, thirty-four of my photographs have become a permanent collection at the Department of Chemistry, University of Rochester (NY). In addition, a large collection of my photographs were used in the Rochester Outdoor Museum. More recently, collectors such as Ardath Rodale of Rodale Publishing have collected my work.
