Joe Renzetti

Joe Renzetti is an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer. He is a member of the Columbus Astronomical Society, a dedicated group that shares their love of astronomy with Central Ohio at star parties, science fairs, schools, and anything astronomical. Joe is a regular volunteer at Perkins Observatory in Delaware, OH which has public programs every Friday night. Joe Renzetti is an amateur astronomer and astrophotographer. Joe is a regular volunteer at Perkins Observatory in Delaware, OH which has public programs every Friday night. The images are acquired at various dark sites on the outskirts Westerville, Delaware, Logan, and Zanesville. Despite the encroaching light pollution he is successful at capturing faint light photons from deep space and bringing out faint details through pain staking post processing data captured in long multiple exposures.

In addition to astronomy Joe is also veteran electronic ambient musician. He has seven albums released on his own label. His music has been played on NPR, XM Satellite, Spotify and other stations and available online at various music sites.
