Art for me has always been an opportunity to see the world through another person's eyes. In my photographs I try to show the little things that I notice - colours, shapes, connections and relationships - anything that makes me stop a look that little bit harder. I tend to avoid posed or constructed images, preferring to let my mind take a break and give my eyes free-reign. I will amaze myself sometimes, feeling as if I wasn't really present when an image was formed.
