I have to preface my mission statement by saying this is my opinion: It is MY profound belief that fine art should serve three main functions: To comfort to inspire and to uplift, plain and simple. This, I believe includes all of the fine arts, not just the visual, but music and performance as well. Today I believe we are seeing and experiencing first hand the tearing down that occurs in society when we not only focus on the ugly but also make it socially acceptable. Good things and good and honest people become the object of ridicule. There are those among us that revel in the downward spiral...

I have to preface my mission statement by saying this is my opinion: It is MY profound belief that fine art should serve three main functions: To comfort to inspire and to uplift, plain and simple. This, I believe includes all of the fine arts, not just the visual, but music and performance as well. Today I believe we are seeing and experiencing first hand the tearing down that occurs in society when we not only focus on the ugly but also make it socially acceptable. Good things and good and honest people become the object of ridicule. There are those among us that revel in the downward spiral for they’re own selfish reasons. I choose to believe that the reverse may indeed help to heal our society, and I believe that the healing is long overdue. Once again this is MY opinion.
