Nina Boyd has been an artist since she was seven years old. After studying art in California she still enjoys making art a part of her everyday life. She mainly works in two dimensional media, with fantasy and fairy tale themes. She draws her inspiration from the illustrator Josephine Wall; the artists Maxfield Parrish, Jerry N. Uelsmann, and all surrealists.

"The magic of what happens during the artistic process has always fascinated me. I try to look for that surreal feeling every time I begin a piece. Art should expand the mind and attempt to illustrate worlds not yet in existence, or at least take its viewers on an adventure beyond everyday life. From over sized murals in private residences to local print sales, I share my fascination with anyone willing to enjoy it!"
