Hi my name is Judy and I am a self taught artist. I am Dominican but I live in UK. I draw since I was a child, but I don't remember exactly since when. When I was a child I used to draw Disney character and still love to doing it lol. I don't remember the first time I started to draw because maybe I was too small to remember. But not always I was drawing since I was volleyball player first and then tennis player and I used to spend lot of time practicing without time to draw. Also, I think I never took drawing seriously. Well, now I do and I am back with my drawing.

But not always I was drawing since I was volleyball player first and then tennis player and I used to spend lot of time practicing without time to draw. Also, I think I never took drawing seriously. Well, now I do and I am back with my drawing.

One thing that I always remember when I was a child and specifically in 3rd grade when one of my teachers assigned us to draw a character from a book that was part of the material for the class. We had to draw "Pluto". I was so happy to draw him. After we all finished the drawings we gave them to the teacher. So the next day we have to pick up the drawing already graded. I was so so excited because I was sure the teacher would like it. Well, to my surprise the teacher told me the following:

"you knew that it is not acceptable to trace the drawing, so because of that I can't give you a good grade and you will not have recess today O.O" Oh well I was so sad but now I take that as a complement, maybe he thought the draw was so good that she didn't believe I drew it without tracing it! Well, I just wish I can see the teacher to tell her that I am still drawing, exactly the same way I used to draw, without tracing!!!
