Most of John’s life has been about drawing and/or painting images of a world as seen and/or imagined. The paintings displayed here are done with layers on layers to create a dreamscape impression focusing on one object. When viewing John’s work, one gets a feeling of isolation, but at the same time, hope.
John graduated with a BFA from Massachusetts College of Art in Boston and is currently living in Massachusetts with his partner of 24 years and their two boys and a puppy named Murphy. John also is obsessed with a ‘cleaner world’ and will recycle anything that can be recycled so his kids can grow up in a cleaner world.
