Born in 1952 Australia and grew up on the northern beaches of Sydney, Avalon, Newport and Palm Beach, I have six children (38, 36, 34, 28, 25, 24,) and six grandchildren. My husband who is from Spain encourages me to be creative, he is a professor of music, and has worked as a musician playing the piano for a living, since the 1960's. This new work I started in Sept 2008 is created for the first time with digital paint and some photos with painting work added .

Shanmaree was an art director at The Bay St Gallery, has had many joint exhibitions and a few solo exhibitions from 1992 through to 1998 with large acrylic paintings.

Subjects and Styles: contemporary, abstract, photos
modern, still life, plants, nature, mexican patterned art , all digital, some start as a photograph, then recreated digitally.

Works are in Sydney, Melbourne, Gold Coast, and Tweed Heads Australia. Under the name Shan. This new work is under Shanmaree which is her first name and second name together.
