I have been painting since 1992. Since moving to the southwest (from Connecticut) in July of 2006, I have been painting southwestern landscapes of the desert, mountains, and sky of Arizona and New Mexico. The southwestern landscape has captured my heart with its majestic beauty. Nature is my muse and inspiration. You will discover that I use bold colors in my acrylic paintings and my oil paintings. I also do acrylic encaustic abstract painting, which is becoming an addiction. My favorite colors for painting are pink, purple, mauve, green, blue, and yellow, with some highlights of orange. My style is expressive. I reside and do my art in Silver City, New Mexico.
