For many years I worked as an art director, graphic designer and more recently a web designer. My formal education was as a painting major at Philadelphia College of Art. How I ended up a commercial artist is a mystery even to me. But over the years I always returned to my first love, painting.
I have two galleries, abstracts and florals. My originals are acrylic paintings. I was pleased to find Imagekind.com. The quality of the prints and the framing exceeded my expectations. I have my painting professionally photographed, so the print you will receive is the highest quality. All my paintings are available in different papers, with custom framing or without framing. Whatever you prefer. Most of my paintings can be ordered in the largest canvas size.

With so much conflict in the world, my aim is to discover beauty, peace and harmony and capture the magic of it.
I have always admired Georgia O'Keefe but until recently I never dared try to paint florals. But I now am drawn to the floral shapes and I'm playing with the mirror image motif. Within the mirror image the flower becomes another visual entirely. I then merge these visuals with abstract shapes into a composition of contrast. Hard and soft, dark and light.
My vision is that art should not represent life as it truely is but as life is in imagination. The creative power is in the imagination of the viewer. The artist is just doing their "thing". Not always understanding "why". Compelled to create what comes naturally. A gift.
