Adka, who was born and raised in Slovakia, developed a love for drawing at an early age. Her art teachers rarely appreciated her eccentric art approach to subjects, which apparently did not meet the communistic ideal of conformity. Slovak folk art full of colorful ornaments and whimsies played an important role in her artistic development. Known to many as "Adka's Art", which is borrowed from her childhood nickname 'Adka' her goal is to paint happy visions that bring joy to people and enrich the world.
