Her art teachers rarely appreciated her eccentric art approach to subjects, which apparently did not meet the communistic ideal of conformity. Slovak folk art full of colorful ornaments and whimsies played an important role in her artistic development. She enjoys creating vibrant and playful surrealistic imagery loaded with energy, incorporating multiple dimensions and colors, which she has found appeals to a wide range of viewers. Known to many as "Adka's Art", which is borrowed from her childhood nickname 'Adka' her goal is to paint happy visions that bring joy to people and enrich the world.
