Resumed photography after a long hiatus in the fall of 2007; got hooked on the Flickr bug and began shooting a LOT more. Learned some new techniques, began using them, and started getting requests for prints of my images. So I have found a partner to start working with on the printing and distribution end, and I look forward to along and productive relationship.
I take pictures of special places: my home town of Andover, MA -- home of Phillips Academy and its many beautiful buildings, and dozens of fantastic parks, rivers, and the like.
I travel on business, and do my best to bring the camera with me when possible (such as to Arizona, to photograph a very special place, Frank Lloyd Wright's Taliesin West). A print of this was selected to hang for five years in the SkySong Center at Arizona State University.
I look for special events that might produce interesting images as well, though those tend to be of more specific local interest. Occasionally I will include those here if they are really special: like the picture of Kobe Bryant.
The change of seasons produces many opportunities for images that friends and family have used as decorative art -- and that's ok too!
