I drew and painted extensively as a child and a teen, after high school I took commercial design classes at the New England School of Art for almost 2 years and realized it wasn't for me. I drew and painted extensively as a child and a teen, after high school I took commercial design classes at the New England School of Art for almost 2 years and realized it wasn't for me. Joined a rock band in the mid-seventies and never looked back. My experience with computer graphics, Adobe Photoshop and the internet work I was doing led me full circle back into painting. This time my passion for oils on canvas was finally realized. I started painting primarily in the areas where I lived and visited, Boston, Rockport and Clearwater, FL. For the last year I've been painting exclusively outdoors, plein air. I'm a self-taught painter inspired by the French impressionist and American realists. I'm mostly interested in landscapes, cityscapes, beach scenes and portraits.
