Charla Pettingill was born and raised in East Tennessee. She earned her B.F.A. and M.A. in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia.

Charla is now an internationally-published illustrator working in both watercolor and digital media. She creates artwork that is elegant, feminine, and colorful in appearance. She is currently available for freelance illustration.
