Lisa Kairos

I am a mixed media artist/painter living in the San Francisco Bay Area. I work in both encaustic and acrylic, and incorporate found papers, fabrics, sewing, etc. into my work. My work generally deals with my interaction with nature, and I take a contemporary, yet organic, approach to my subjects. I'm currently working on two bodies of work: the encaustic "White" series, and the acrylic "Bird" series, both represented here in this gallery.
