Leslie wanted to be an artist ever since she was a very young child. Her parents, family and friends encouraged an incredible sense of adventure in her, whether it was exploring abandoned buildings, going on back country canoe trips or horse back excursions. Being raised in a Catholic home has given her an awareness and appreciation for religious structures. Leslie's father was a talented mechanic and always generously shared his knowledge of cars, she learned to see the beauty in the lines and curves of the automobile and it's parts.
