My goal is to capture the essence of what I see and feel around me in my art.

I am primarily a watercolor artist, but I also work with numerous media including acrylic, encaustic waxes, inks, and collage. I love the unpredictable nature of watercolor that allows freedom for creative expression. I use vibrant colors as my aesthetic emphasis and focus on picturesque subjects for my content. My general approach is representational with a semi-abstract treatment of form and color and non-representational abstract. I am an eclectic artist who has a zest and passion for life and my art integrates this energy and simplicity.

I am currently a juried member of the Southern Arizona Watercolor Guild. My work can be found in private collections around the country.
