Javier Ureña

I was born in Jaén (Spain) in 1982.

I did three courses of a degree in Medicine, but I realized it was not my true vocation. Since 2004 I have been studying Architecture in Madrid, focusing on Landscape Design.

I have been collaborating as an architect with several offices in Spain and Netherlands, combining architecture with photography. Many of my photos have been taken during my journeys through Europe and Africa.

My work is influenced by an architectural approach, but also by my love for nature and landscape.
