Hello everyone!
I'm primarily a painter trained in the fine arts, but find when I am not painting, like every artist I've ever known, I am working on other artistic pieces in different mediums. I am an avid photographer and have been exploring combinations of real life, 3D and virtual art.
I love mermaids, empty boxes, and oil paint. The art pieces you see here are mostly a combination of paintings in real life and digital art techniques. Most of the pieces you see here also exist virtually in my gallery "19" in second life and you are welcome to drop by anytime to see them there! The darker side is somewhat of an obsession with me, but there is always some acknowledgment of the light in the dark.
I sign my paintings sLsM the initials of my birth name and my currant name, an acknowledgment of my past as well as a nod to the present, it is my past, all the influences and experiences combined that makes me the artist/person I am today!
