LIGHT - I think the quality of light is the most important element to have in your image. Be it a painting or photograph, it creates a mood, a feeling, a moment frozen in time.
Quality being it's color, it's direction, it's intensity. When I see beautiful light, it invigorates me and makes me feel something inside. It's like viewing a sunset at the beach. The color, it's intensity, I'm sure everyone can relate to what I am describing. If not a sunset, then how about a sunrise or an overcast day? It's a moment that makes me feel something inside.
Take time to look and "feel" the light.
