Born and raised in the Canadian Maritimes, I have been surrounded by beautiful and picture perfect landscapes and seascapes all my life. Deep and rich colours are all round. This has influenced my art creations and subject matter. But I also love to play in fantasy, and this is why I love working in encaustic wax for it has a looseness and playfulness to it. I also work in watercolour, pastels and acrylics. I paint with poetry as well, to create images in word and may bring the two together in the future.
