My interest in photography began when I decided to document my experiences as a field archaeologist. I enjoy photographing historic buildings, archaeological features, and landscapes. My favorite photographs bring out details that are often overlooked, such as old hitching posts in the French Quarter, a flowering vine cascading over a rusty wrought iron fence, or the sturdiness of a unfurled fern.
