I have been creating drawings since I was a small child, and later discovered painting. I studied at both Dudley College and the Kent Institute of Art & Design, Maidstone and I have lived and worked in London, Kent, Birmingham, Worcestershire and the Arizona desert. My photography work started by accident - I was making photos simply as references for my drawings and paintings - but then fell in love with photography in it's own right.

Today, in a world where everyday seems to bring us closer to the edge of social, economic and mental collapse, I think the driving force behind my continued work is a need to show that there is beauty all around us - that the world is full of positive energy and is worth fighting for.
