I'm a retired Air Force Pilot, retired corporate accountant and now a practicing artist. I have been painting for about 35 years but for many of those years my day job tied me up for 15 hours a day in work and commuting. During those years, I usually only completed 2 or 3 paintings a year. My art is the product of some college art courses, workshops with professional artists to numerous to count, and years of messing about just to see what would happen. My art is the product of some college art courses, workshops with professional artists to numerous to count, and years of messing about just to see what would happen. I usually considered every painting to be an experiment. My first love was pastels but I've also come to love acrylics. My awards range from a best in show, a peoples choice award, several best in venue or medium and numerous honorable mentions. I belong or have belonged to numerous art organizations and was a past president of the Seacoast Artist Association of New Hampshire. Since turning 70 years of age, I have cut back to mostly painting and showing my paintings in various venues and we'll see what happens here on Image Kind.
