Nietzsche said "You need chaos in your soul to give birth to a dancing star."

After 25+ years of creative endevors, I've found this to be so true. It's true for the universe and it's true for one lonely soul to create. My creativity is a way of embracing the chaos that exists, knowing that it is the only seed to true beauty, and also a way of finding my own self.

I have dabbled in many artistic mediums throughout my life, but somehow digital art has grabbed my focus and been an exquisite medium to pour out what is in my head & heart. My favorite pieces have lots of text...

After 25+ years of creative endevors, I've found this to be so true. It's true for the universe and it's true for one lonely soul to create. My creativity is a way of embracing the chaos that exists, knowing that it is the only seed to true beauty, and also a way of finding my own self.

I have dabbled in many artistic mediums throughout my life, but somehow digital art has grabbed my focus and been an exquisite medium to pour out what is in my head & heart. My favorite pieces have lots of texture & detail, color - albeit dark at times, and a fluid movement that hopefully reflects the abstract thoughts we all share. I like to play with themes of opposites and balance, as well as tempting those more baser instincts of sensuality with the unbridled joys of life.

Most of the time I don't even know what I will be creating until it comes pouring out of my brush (well, rather my mouse...), but my gut reaction to it tells me when it speaks to my soul. I hope my pieces will speak to yours as well.
