Julia Bridget Hayes is a South African born iconographer living in Athens, Greece. She is also currently doing her doctorate on 'The icon as liturgical art: Liturgical time in the icon' at the Department of Social Theology at the University of Athens. Her hand-painted icons are in churches and private collections in Greece, South Africa, Russia, Romania, Belgium, Ukraine, the UK, Finland, USA, Indonesia and Argentina and have also been published in the Eastern/Greek Orthodox Bible (www.orthodox-church.info/eob/).
