Greg Woodhouse, a longtime resident of the central coast region of California, is a software engineer specializing in medical informatics (computers in medicine) with a long-standing interest in the arts. Though he has done some work in 35 mm (film) photography, it was an interest in digital imaging that led him to discover an interest in photography as art. His career as photographer then really began in earnest in 2007.

Greg's work currently focuses on documenting aspects of life in California, both urban and rural. He grew up in Santa Cruz County, an area that continues to occupy a central place in his work.
