I've always been inclined to draw or paint whatever comes to mind or whatever feeling I am trying to convey onto the canvas. My paintings are a mixture of reality and fantasy and most of the time figurative. My ideas come from watching people's expressions of everyday life like two people in love, laughter and happiness, sadness or sorrow. My ideas of what to paint also come from studying the details of nature like, heavy rains, thunderstorms, the actions of trees swaying in the windy air and so forth. I own a small studio, MONA Lisy Art Studio and teach children's art classes between the ages of 7 to 13 years of age. I graduated from the University of Texas, Pan American with a BFA. Now, I am attending graduate school at the same university to complete my MFA. I received a diploma in Web Design from Lehigh Valley College in Pennsylvania and also design websites for friends, some clients and myself.
