The USA has been my home for over 12 years, having moved from Sydney, Australia as a "trailing spouse"! It's not as painful as it sounds! Life is a learning experience from start to finish, wherever you go, whatever you do.

Photography is a passion, ignited when at 13 years of age I was generously complimented on a particular, backlit shot of my sister, attended by her maids on her wedding day. Gardening and the natural world have always been interests and calming influences. Photography and gardening satisfy an inherent need to express ideas and to engage in creative processes.

Founding a non-profit, Individual Differences in Learning, to focus on Twice-Exceptional students whose talents and learning difficulties bring challenges and barriers to their success in school, can only be described as a calling. The experience has helped me to realize that in contrast to my own school experiences, I actually enjoy writing. My greatest reward is knowing that my work and my writing have helped many children, often having the effect of opening and changing minds about what Mel Levine, MD describes as "The Myth of Laziness".

I'm excited about technology and all the possibilities that come with it, especially the opportunity to truly live globally and stay connected in the world, from almost anywhere. It's a small world! I hope you enjoy my work and that what you see in my galleries may make a happy connection with you.
