Born in Guayama, Puerto Rico. Grew up in New York City, spending summers in PR. His personality reflected the best of both worlds.

He was a detailed person, as colorful as his paintings. He had several passions, God's Word the Bible, Drawing, Cooking. He was encouraged to put is drawings onto canvas. He suffered from a Genetic Disease Poly Cystic Kidney Disease. He didn't let anything hold him down from enjoying the things he loved.

He may be gone, however, he left a gallery of his creations. During his last 7 years of his life, in between emergency hospital visits, surgeries, and dialysis treatments, he created 24 bright, bold, and colorful paintings which made up the Tonio's Living Art Collection.
