As a transplanted Scot, I grew up with a great appreciation of watercolor art, poetry, and nature. I love and respect nature in all its various forms and am constantly in awe of it's power and beauty - it is often the inspiration for my work. Gardening, nature, reading, writing humorous poetry, and needlework are some other things that I enjoy.

In the working world, creating informative presentations was part of my job and digital art is a natural extension of that. I am pretty much a self-taught artist. Over the years, I've tried to add to my education and awareness by attending workshops and classes. Now retired, there is time to learn and appreciate many other forms of art. One of my goals for this summer is learning how to paint with watercolors.
