Deborah Gichan

I am a photographer who specializes in dance and performance photography. I was trained as a dancer and migrated to photojournalism. Working now as a photography and dance history teacher I enjoy capturing performance images, portraits, nature and events.
I am a graduate of UC Berkeley. I began formal photo training while assisting at the then Masters program at MIT. I studied at New England School of Photography, Parsons and at the International Center for Photography in NYC. Street photography lead to working at a weekly newspaper in Hoboken NJ.
