I started taking photos in the mid 70s, tought by my dad. I quickly became involved in the emerging "punk" scene and got to photograph many young bands such as U2, Depeche Mode, Simple Minds, Siouxsie & the Banshees. My work was published in many belgian magazines and also some international ones ( Creem , New Musical Express, Vinyl, Sounds ), on records and in books. Later, the advent of digital photography renewed my interest. As music had become a BUSINESS, I had no interest to fight with record labels to have access to concerts, so I decided to concentrate on people who actually wanted to be photographed : ( aspiring ) models.
