Early in 2006 I followed a dream, I gave up my well paying job aged 49 to pursue my dream. My dream is to expand my 30yr love affair with photography, I first used photography to record the many and varied scenes on my travels through a number of far away countries. My dream is to expand my 30yr love affair with photography, I first used photography to record the many and varied scenes on my travels through a number of far away countries. As the years have passed I have begun to realise how important these pictures have become to me. They are my memories of the landscape and the people I have met.
My aim is to photograph the best scenery that the south of England and Scotland has to offer in terms of its landscape and nature. I was born in Kent but have lived in Sussex for the last 12yrs, but a special place in my heart has to go to the Highlands of Scotland for the incredible quality of light and the contours of the land and coastline.
I am passionate about producing the finest quality photographs, to achieve this I have attended quality courses run by Charlie Waite’s company Light and Land and by Scottish based professional photographer John McKinlay.
