is my motto as visual artist. With my work, I introduce you into a world of colors, shapes and textures, painted with light as artfully edited photo paintings, or painted with color as abstract acrylic paintings.

My main passion is fineart photography: my photography is already designed within the camera and then transferred by my special postwork to exceptional "photo paintings", "lightpaintings", my "paintography".

I've developed for my photography art my own special texture-, light- and camera techniques for over 15 years now; they originate from my very beginnings in analog and repro-photography, part of my profession as a graphic designer.

The main focus of my artwork is on the artistic realization of common subjects, the creation of individual colors, shapes and light to carry emotions, harmony and transferring the ordinary to the beauty of unique photopaintings.

My style varies from elegant and minimalistic to opulent and romantic, mostly in pastel colors. The main themes are from nature, flora and still life.

Another favorite of mine is macro photograph; the closer look trains the eye for a new way of seeing.
These photographs are nearly all SOOC, i.e. without any post-processing. Here I use special camera techniques that allow me such insights into microcosms, as they cannot be done by conventional macro lenses.

Last but not least another favorite of mine is acrylic painting. I love to play with colors, textures, using collage elements to achieve a huge depth and an exciting mood. These, mostly abstract large paintings or assemblages are on canvas and have been sold worldwide.
