We are husband & wife illustrators, working out of Castle Rock, Colorado, after 13 years in New York City. We hold BFA degrees in communication design from the University of North Texas and MFA degrees in illustration from the School of Visual Arts. In addition to working for a variety of editorial clients, Jeff has illustrated five children's books and we recently published our first collaboration, "Little Lions, Bull Baiters & Hunting Hounds: A History of Dog Breeds." We received a non-fiction research grant from the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators for the book, which we collaboratively wrote, illustrated and designed. Our second collaborative project, "Upon Secrecy," which we co-illustrated, will be out in fall 2009. We are currently at work on a book similar to "Little Lions..." about the history of horse breeds.
