I'm a writer and small business owner; I run a school of creative writing in San Francisco called The Writing Salon. I want to see and experience the world in as many ways as I can. Photography is one more way to explore the joy of being alive, aware...and creative.
I wait for the right light and then try to capture a moment of visual poetry. My images are often abstract. I'm drawn to shape and form. Shadows and light. Colors. Textures. Bits and pieces. Fragments. Moments. Most recently I've been focusing on urban nature, especially fallen leaves. Also stairways and walls.
