Empowerment International works with some of the Western Hemisphere's most impoverished and at risk youth in Nicaragua. Empowerment International provides these children with the basic tools to attend school and gives them and their parents the emotional tools to stay school in a nation where 50% of the kids drop out before reaching the end of 5th grade,.

Photography is one of the ways Empowerment International engages the highest risk population with the intention of raising their self esteem, artistic and creative side as well as learning about business skills. .

This Gallery is either by the students or by other visitors or the Executive Director who have donated their work for use. All proceeds go to the program and a portion of each sale of will also be put away for the young artist for future use. When he or she completes high school, the funds will be used for college tuition or starting their own business.
