To see people attempt extraordinary things, things seemingly beyond themselves, resonates with us on a primal level. We are moved and inspired.

Whether they triumph or fail is almost beyond the point and both teach us valuable lessons. We mostly admire the courage and tenacity it takes in the attempt and hope that when the time comes we can rise to the occasion.

However, to endure would have very little meaning without the connections we have and make, the values we embrace and the passions, contradictions and aspirations we possess.

At our worst we can be base and...

But at our best we are noble creatures, inspired and inspiring and full of hope. We are flames of light that pierce the void and we should never forget it no matter what may befall us.

I hope you like the work and hope in the times and tests ahead laughter, friendship and strength will sustain you while a belief in yourself and the best of what we can be and achieve will prevail and endure.
