Art has always been my passion, starting from the beginning of my childhood, until today. My inspiration came from watching my Father, a professional artist; transforming plain white surfaces into colorful renderings of people, buildings and landscapes. It was natural for me to want to become just like my dad, I wanted to be an artist to fulfill that dream, I drew and painted on every piece of paper I could find, visualizing myself creating art on real canvases. I fulfilled that goal so that today I am a professional artist, working out of my own studio. My thanks goes to my father, who taught...
My thanks goes to my father, who taught me all I needed to know and who encouraged me too believe in myself.
In later years I wanted to learn styles and mediums other than what I had learned from my father. To do so I decided to attend classes at the college of Arts and Skills in Saarbruecken West Germany. I grew up in that country and lived a great deal of my life there, but my home is now here in the United States and I am thankful to being here.
I have trained in most every art style, but my preference is to paint realism with painterly interpretation. Nature, animals and people are so wonderful in there own design that they can not be improved on. That is why I like to represent them in my art as they look and behave in real life. Artwork is far more then a decorative item; it represents the heart of the artist, it can also be educational and bring attention to a certain subjects, view or place. Therefore, my vision is to create paintings that tell a story and speak to the imagination of the person that is viewing it. .
