My name is Chris Chalk and I am an artist living in west Wales UK.
As a child growing up on a farm in Wales I was always very interested in wildlife and wildlife art of all kinds. In 1981 I attended a children’s art holiday at the Slimbridge wildfowl and wetland Trust which fuelled my passion further.
As I grew up and left school however life got in the way of my painting and I didn’t pick up a brush again until 2004 on returning to Wales from Australia where I had been living for five years.
These days I paint a variety of subjects from welsh landscapes and seascapes to portraits and pet portraits, but still love to paint all kinds of wildlife.
My paintings are in private collections in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Great Britain.
